Accomodation
Valley View Barn
Valley View Barn is an original Sussex Oak timber framed barn with adjoining stables and a separate stable block, all set around a courtyard. Valley View Barn is set within two acres and enjoys an elevated position with adjoining farmland and views over the beautiful Sussex countryside.
Having been sympathetically converted to an eight bedroom Quality Respite Care Centre the owners of Valley View Barn have kept much of the old original oak timbers and offer mainly ground floor accommodation.
All doors are above minimum standard with low thresholds for disabled and wheelchair users, allowing easy access to all parts of the Respite Care Centre.
The Barn
Leaving many of the original oak timbers in place, the barn has full under floor heating, a large lounge area with patio doors leading to a large patio and breath taking views.
The dining area, in the centre of the barn, comprises of high vaulted ceilings which have been beautifully lit to show off the exposed timbers and a decorative mezzanine floor. A slate floor leads from the dining room to the kitchen, utility, separate toilet and hallway to a further bedroom.
The kitchen has its own courtyard kitchen garden, allowing fresh herbs to be used along with local produce.
The Stables
A glazed corridor from the lounge leads you along the courtyard to four bedrooms.
Each bedroom has its own full en-suite shower/wet room, under floor heating, alarm call, tv/dvd, telephone and patio door leading to a walled secluded patio area with outstanding views.
The Bungalow
On the opposite side of the walkway there is a separate two bedroom bungalow which can be used as a family suite. It also lends itself to the Service User and carer having their own separate lounge and dining room, should they wish to remain independent.
One of the bedrooms is suitable for disabled and wheelchair users and this room also has a full en-suite shower/wet room and a bath.
The Gardens
Set in two acres Valley View Barn not only enjoys stunning views but it also has a path that wraps itself around the building allowing service users easy mobility to enjoy the view from all different perspectives.
